A lot has been said about the teams in 2014, understandably, due to the empty spot Webber left in Red Bull.
Actually a lot was said about Kimi joining Red Bull in 2014, filling that empty spot. But it has been confirmed that the negotiations failed with Kimi, so the Iceman probably won't be joining Red Bull Racing next season, witch I think it's appropriate:
I'm not sure about Kimi in Red Bull, with him having to do all that PR work that he hates and specially the possibility of being nr2 to Vettel, can't see the Iceman being second to no one at this stage of his career.
There's also a rumor that he might be joining Ferrari in 2014. Again there's the team-mate problem again, not sure Alonso would be happy having the Iceman as a team-mate or vice-versa.
Lotus is definitely a great team for Kimi due to the fact that there's not a lot less pressure, an environment that he appreciates. Also not a lot of PR stuff like he would have to do on Red Bull.
I think that if he concentrates and collaborates with the team in the car development Lotus can really be a team to look out for, giving that Lotus has proved that has a good competitive car/team and specially because there's new car construction rules being placed next season.
